What professional embroidery digitizing actually involves
Embroidery digitizing is the process of turning artwork into a set of machine instructions: where every needle penetration lands, which stitch type fills each shape, what order the shapes sew in, and where the machine trims and changes colour. Two files can look identical on screen and sew completely differently.
A production-ready file accounts for things artwork never shows — how much the fabric pulls in as stitches tighten, what underlay is needed to stop the design sinking into a fleece or a pique, how small lettering can get before satin columns collapse, and how to path the design so a cap front sews from the centre out without distortion.
That is the work we do by hand. It is also why we never run auto-digitizing: automatic conversion produces dense, over-layered files that break thread, pucker fabric and slow machines down — the files most shops end up sending us to rescue.

Most left-chest and sleeve logos are $10–$20, medium designs from 4" to 8" are $25–$50, and cap or patch files are $15–$35. Large and full-back designs are quoted individually. The exact price is confirmed in your free quote before any work starts.
