Why DTF files need preparation
DTF printers print exactly what they are given, including the problems. Semi-transparent pixels become faint boxes, jagged edges print jagged, low-resolution images print soft, and large solid areas of white ink make the transfer heavy and stiff.
Good DTF prep fixes those issues before the file reaches the printer: every edge is clean, every pixel is either fully printed or fully clear, and the white layer is only where it needs to be.
